Guests enjoy them before and after an event, as well as during. They have even made an appearance on dance floors with specialty items and cocktails, or a shot of espresso to keep the energy high.

A Cannoli Cart from 24 Carrots Catering & Events
Cannoli is a Sicilian pastry consisting of a tube-shaped shell of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling containing ricotta cheese. Already famous in Italy, cannolis were made all the more so thanks to a line about them in the iconic film, The Godfather. As two mobsters flee the scene of a crime, one yells to the other who has turned back to get something from the car, "Leave the gun, take the cannoli!" That's HOW important cannolis can be!
This was not lost on the team at 24 Carrots Catering & Events in Costa Mesa, California, who made them the focus of an event at Skyline at Peninsula Village by putting made-to-order cannolis on a roaming cart. Finished anyway the guest wanted, but mostly with powdered sugar, it's hard to imagine anyone forgetting these cannoli!

According to the magazine, Haute Living, "As gin soars in popularity, gin drinks go beyond martinis, and gin makers around the world strive to produce artful spirits that have sense of place, notable personalities, culinary cunning, and the ability to provoke an exclamation of awe when tasted."
